Refund And Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

We want billing to be straightforward. This Policy explains how PromptCine subscriptions renew, how to stop future payments, and when we can consider refunds or payment corrections.

1. What you are buying

PromptCine Pro is digital access to our prompt library—not a physical product and not a subscription to the AI tools mentioned on our site.

  • ₹99 Pro: 30 days of access, with up to 200 Pro prompt copies a day.
  • ₹499 Pro: 365 days of access, with unlimited ordinary copying of the available Free and Pro Prompts.

Your final checkout summary identifies the plan, the payment method and whether you selected one-time payment or AutoPay.

2. One-time purchases

A one-time payment buys only the selected 30-day or 365-day period. It does not create a mandate for a future debit, and you do not need to cancel it to prevent renewal.

3. AutoPay subscriptions

AutoPay is optional. It applies only when you deliberately select recurring billing and complete the payment-mandate authorization through the applicable payment flow. The selected plan then renews at the disclosed frequency until the mandate is cancelled, subject to the rules of your payment provider.

4. Cancelling AutoPay

You can cancel future AutoPay through the Account section on PromptCine. If your bank or UPI app offers mandate management, you may also cancel the mandate there. Cancellation stops future renewals after it becomes effective; it does not ordinarily shorten a period already paid for.

Example: If you buy the 30-day plan and cancel AutoPay on day 8, your Pro access continues until the end of the paid 30-day period. The next renewal should not be charged after an effective cancellation.

If you paid once without selecting AutoPay, your plan simply expires at the end of its purchased period.

5. General refund approach

Pro access is normally activated digitally after payment confirmation. Once the correctly purchased access has been delivered and made available, we do not ordinarily offer a refund solely because you changed your mind, did not use the service, or were unhappy with an output generated by an independent AI tool.

We also do not ordinarily refund a valid, disclosed AutoPay renewal merely because a user forgot to cancel it in advance. However, we will assess individual circumstances fairly, and nothing in this Policy overrides a refund or remedy required by Indian consumer law or payment rules.

6. When we review refunds or corrections

Please contact us if any of the following happens:

  • Paid but no Pro access: the payment is confirmed but the purchased entitlement is not delivered, and we cannot correct the issue within a reasonable period.
  • Genuine duplicate debit: a transaction was accidentally processed or captured twice due to a technical error.
  • Charge after effective cancellation: a recurring payment was taken when the mandate had already been validly cancelled and the debit should not have occurred.
  • Unauthorized payment: you believe a transaction was not approved by the account or payment-instrument holder.
  • Incorrect plan or serious service deficiency: the purchased access was materially different from what was represented at checkout, or another statutory remedy applies.

We may request limited evidence to identify the transaction and confirm the circumstances, and we may work with Razorpay or the relevant payment participant. We will provide a correction, renewed access, refund or other appropriate resolution according to the facts and applicable law.

7. What happens if two payments succeed?

If two genuinely separate purchases were authorized and successfully received for the same account, we ordinarily add the corresponding paid terms one after the other. Two valid 30-day purchases can therefore provide 60 days of entitlement; two valid 365-day purchases can provide 730 days.

But an unintended technical duplicate charge is not automatically treated as a second purchase. You can request investigation and, if appropriate, refund or reversal of the duplicate debit rather than being forced to take additional subscription time.

8. How to submit a request

Email info@promptcine.com, preferably from your registered PromptCine email address. Please include the plan name, charge date and amount, the payment/reference ID if available, and a brief explanation of the problem.

Do not send your OTP, UPI PIN, bank password, full card number or CVV. We do not need those details to review a billing issue.

9. How refunds are processed

When a refund is approved, we will normally initiate it through the original payment channel, where available and permitted. The time for the money to reach your account depends on Razorpay and the relevant bank, UPI participant or card network. We will not promise a universal crediting deadline that we cannot control.

Access corresponding to a fully refunded period may be adjusted or removed after the refund. Existing access from another valid paid period is not automatically affected.

10. Your other rights

This Policy does not prevent you from contacting your bank or payment provider, raising a payment dispute, or exercising rights available under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.
